This Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re highlighting our mental health leaflets for patients and their families.
These leaflets are co-produced by patients, carers, psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, and cover a wide range of perinatal mental health issues including:
- Planning a pregnancy
- Postnatal depression
- Postpartum psychosis
- Lithium in pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Perinatal OCD
- What are perinatal mental health services
And more.
If you work in perinatal mental health care, It can be hugely helpful to have something to hand to your patients which provides support and reassurance, and many mental health trusts now stock our pregnancy-related mental health information, and other RCPsych patient leaflets.
Our patient information was certified by the Patient Information Forum’s PIF TICK Quality Mark for Health Information in March 2023.
